Symbols of electronic components
The aim of the test is to classify the materials according to their flammability. UL 94 consists of two test types: vertical and horizontal. It was introduced by Underwriters Laboratories.
International Protection Rating
Classifies and rates the degree of protection provided against the intrusion of solid objects (including body parts like hands and fingers), dust, accidental contact, and water in mechanical casings and with electrical enclosures.
SMD (Surface Mounted Device) – device surface mounted. It is an identification of electronic components suitable for surface mounting.
PCB (Printed Circuit Board) – made from dielectrical material covered with traces and soldering/contact points of conductive material (copper Cu).
